Welcome to PSY 637 Cultural Competencies!

I will be taking over the course this month, and I look forward to it.

As a graduate of a multicultural International University, I am deeply committed to practicing psychotherapy from a culturally informed position, and passionate about a life of continual personal education about cultures.

I invite you to find where you may need to be challenged, and explore those unexplored areas.   This course will provide a method of approaching cultural as it presents in the therapeutic hour.  Every encounter is a multicultural encounter, and we will develop our awareness and understand our strengths and limitations in biases and talents we have to better understand and assist a culturally diverse population.

Stay tuned for assignments, videos and more...

WE WILL HAVE A TAKE HOME FINAL.
