Relationships & Attachment.  Attachment in infancy and childhood is a crucial neurological and emotional building block for a healthy successful adult relational life.  Not only does it determine your ability to establish and maintain intimate and loving connections, it has been demonstrated to effect problem solving, ability to cope with stress and crisis and rates of substance abuse.  Often in my work with individuals and couples, I will use various methods to assess attachment patterns to assist with intervention.  I may have clients take the attachment screening in the following link, which is informative and useful as an aid to treatment.  By logging in, you will be able to take the assessment screening and receive an immediate report of your findings.
