Healing Trauma in Relational Therapy: Dancing through the Flames

Attendees will explore relational approaches to treatment of trauma in an eclectic workshop drawing from a variety of modalities including gestalt, existential, cognitive restructuring, relational self psychology, attachment narrative and expressive therapies. We will explores approaches which shift individuals out of trauma based rigidities, process loss and grief, reestablish sense of self and expand creative energy and flow. A portion of the day is focused on countertransference as both a resistance and an empathic resonance in our work with traumatized healing individuals.
Attendees will receive a certificate of completion which may be presented to supervisors to be counted as "training hours" for trainees and interns.
